Welcome to Healesville Toy Library

We officially opened on the 24th of May 2025.

We hope our toy library  brings you and your family many hours of play, connection, and fun.

Library Opening Hours

The Toy Library is open every Saturday morning for 1.25 hours during school terms. We may expand these hours based on demand and volunteer availability.

Any updates will be shared via the library, our social media platforms, and our MiBase website

How We Operate

The Toy Library is run entirely by volunteers—local parents and community members who believe in the power of sharing and play. We provide access to quality toys in an affordable and sustainable way.

Your membership fees and grants help us operate, and there are no paid staff.

Annual membership is $40 per family, or $30 per family (concession rate ), if you are in a financial situation that this fee is a barrier, please have a chat to Kristen, Kristy, Jo or Anne.

Volunteering

We encourage all members to volunteer to help keep the Toy Library running smoothly. 
After you join, a committee member will be in touch to discuss how you might be able to help. Volunteers also get the first pick of the toys to borrow on the sessions they assist with.
Every bit of support makes a big difference!

Our Toys: We provide a wide range of toys for all ages and ensure they are clean and in good condition.

We welcome suggestions for new toys, especially as we receive funding for new purchases through grants.
• Loan Period: Toys can be borrowed for 2 weeks and renewed once.
• Toy Care: Please check all pieces once home and notify us if any are missing or damaged.
• Reporting Issues: If a toy is broken or not working, let us know so we can repair or retire it.

You will receive a copy of our cleaning protocol upon joining. Staying Connected We’re a welcoming, transparent, and supportive committee made up of parents and grandparents.
